The Westborough Public Library appreciates the help of our dedicated volunteer team. They are an integral part in making our library an efficient, friendly and welcoming place to our community.

If you are a teenager looking for service hours, you can sign up with Wave, Westborough Awesome Volunteer Experts. Run by the Teen Librarian, this group meets on Wednesday afternoons during the school year; for more information contact [email protected].

Adults can join the Friends of the Westborough Public Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports library programming and activities through fundraising. They are always looking for more volunteers and can be reached at [email protected]. The library also participates in the Westborough Senior/Veterans Property Tax Work-Off Program. This program is run by the Council on Aging and Senior Center, and gives seniors/veterans the opportunity to lower their taxes by volunteering a certain amount of hours at a municipal department or school. Interested parties should contact the Senior Center at 508-366-3000.

If you have further questions regarding the above opportunities, please contact us at [email protected].

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!
