The Library will be closed 9:00 to 12:00 on Wednesday, March 20. We will open at 12:00 pm.

The Westborough Public Library Foundation (WLF) was created in 2016 by community leaders as a non-profit organization working in partnership with the Library’s Administration and Trustees. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that is committed to the renovation and long-term enhancement of the Westborough Public Library. The WLF has committed to raising $1 million toward the proposed renovation and expansion of the library – and after that project is done, will continue to provide funding to support the capital needs of the library.

The Foundation is a separate and distinct entity from the Westborough Public Library, and funds held by the Foundation shall not supplant any materials, programs, and services which are funded by the Town of Westborough’s annual appropriation to the Library.

The Foundation’s mission is accomplished through gifts, grants, and bequests from individuals and organizations; and through fundraising campaigns and events.

Goals include but are not limited to the following activities:
1.    To raise and oversee funds for the expansion, renovation and repair of the present library building;
2.    To provide an endowment to supplement the funds available for materials, programs, services and other needs of the Library; and
3.    To assist the Library in providing a diverse range of informational, educational, and recreational services to all members of the community.
