Teen Volunteers
Volunteering is a great way for teens to get involved in the community. Teen volunteers help in a variety of ways; from organizing festivals and a haunted library to creating social media posts to brainstorming ideas to organizing books… there is something for everyone.
Any teen who wishes to volunteer at the library must be a WAVE member. It’s really easy to join. First, be a student in grades 9 to 12. Next, teens can visit Jen in the Teen Zone or email [email protected] to express interest. TEENS MUST DO THIS THEMSELVES!! Finally, attend the meetings on select Wednesday afternoons. The meetings count for service hours and they are a great way to meet new friends and have some fun.
