Book Sales resume in July at WPL @ the Commons, 1500 Union St.
July 12, 10:00 – 3:00 outdoors
August 9, 10:00 – 3:00 outdoors
September 13, 10:00 – 3:00 outdoors
October 11, 10:00 – 4:00 outdoors
November 8, 9:00 – 4:00 indoors
** In case of rain, the outdoor sales will be moved indoors and follow library hours. **

BOOK Donations
Donations now accepted at WPL @ the Commons, 1500 Union St.
Friends accept donations of the following:
- Gently used books
- CDs
- DVDs
- Video games
- Audiobooks
The Friends do not accept:
- Cassette tapes
- VHS tapes
- Encyclopedias of all kinds
- Textbooks of all kinds
- Workbooks that are written in
- Books that are badly worn (moldy, musty, missing covers, damaged, etc.)
- Reference books greater than 5 years old (medical, technical, travel)
- Games, puzzles, or toys
About the Friends
The Friends of the Westborough Public Library, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization that was formed to support the programs and services of the Westborough Public Library. (Bylaws and mission statement are available online, or print copies can be provided by request.)
The Friends of the Westborough Public Library meet periodically at the library. Please check the library calendar for meeting dates and times. Copies of meeting minutes are available by request from the Friends and are emailed to members.
Funds raised by book sales are used by the Friends to support the library and its programs and services. The Friends currently provide the majority of funds for library programming and many of the museum passes/discounts available to Westborough Public Library patrons.
New members are always welcome! We hope you will join us in supporting our library.
